If you use a product like this consistently and incorporate it into your daily long term routine then you will see benefits. When it comes to comparing serums versus creams, think of serums as lightweight products with concentrated active ingredients. The effects for over the counter preparations will be pretty comparable when you compare the two against each other with more of a practical difference. It takes a lot less of a serum to achieve the same results so less product needs to be applied. However, serums tend to come in smaller volumes at higher price points so the benefit tends to cancel itself out. Also, because serums are so concentrated sometimes there is less of an anti aging effect and more in the way of irritation. I tend to like hydrating serums as opposed to anti-aging ones because the irritation can be a real issue for some patients.
